Volume 002: On City Limits

This issue’s theme, “On City Limits” has to do with reimagining the urban landscape, exploring ways in which people and cities interact. We’ve enlisted futurist architects, sticker-game freaks, the Chinese housing market (or at least one of its incredible stories), renegade artists, and many other brilliant contributors to weigh in on the present, future, limitations, and limitless potential of the urban centers that house over 50% of humankind.

The magazine also includes work by writers Todd Zuniga and Daniel Link, designers such as Timba Smiths, Alejandro Paul, The Church of London, Billy Ben and Andrew Diprose, appearances by Hanif Kureishi and Jeff Koons, larger than life work by Jaime Gili, Thobias Faldt, Puño, and a million other surprising treasures. Yes, including our selection of artwork-stickers. And some limited-edition letterpressed bookmarkers placed in random copies.

What's on the menu?

What's in this thing, you ask? Well, we've got images, and features, and interviews, and articles, and short bits, and long bits, video posts, sound posts, lists and series, the local, the worldly, the controversial, the inane, and sometimes, if you look closely, the not-fit-for-print (which, of course, we'll just print anyways). Mostly old stuff, and new stuff. You know... the usual.
